Friscops2 [10:16 PM]:  Hey man, we should get a marketing deal with pixar, now that they have left disney
Friscops2 [10:17 PM]:  i think it will be a wise business move
 ed7x3 [10:17 PM]:  hmmm
 ed7x3 [10:17 PM]:  i concur
ed7x3 [10:17 PM]:  we should approach them with a proposal
Friscops2 [10:17 PM]:  yes we should, and soon
Friscops2 [10:18 PM]:  i am sure that many other potental companys will be eager to strike a deal with them
ed7x3 [10:19 PM]:  very astute of you to recognize the potenial increase in competition for this very profitable business venture
ed7x3 [10:21 PM]:  we should increase our productivity to meet this, what will assuredly be a most crowded bidding war
Friscops2 [10:21 PM]:  thank you, so how do u suggest we go about approaching this business venture
ed7x3 [10:22 PM]:  we must devise a plan so full of potential that even Adam(a biblical allusion) would find it difficult to resist

Friscops2 [10:16 PM]:  hey man, we should get a marketing deal with pixar, now that they have left disney
PReLuDe128 [10:17 PM]:  who is we?

 PReLuDe128 [10:47 PM]:  haha
Friscops2 [10:47 PM]:  word of mouth is a very powerful marketing tool, and should not be underestimated
Friscops2 [10:48 PM]:  so u in man, or do u still believe in workign for your money...like a dumb ass...

Please Clearify

PureEvilch [7:58 PM]: im reading ur xanga

Friscops2 [7:59 PM]: how do u like it

PureEvilch [7:59 PM]: its funny

PureEvilch [7:59 PM]: about the girls

Friscops2 [7:59 PM]: FUNNY

Friscops2 [7:59 PM]: about what girls

PureEvilch [7:59 PM]: about the car

PureEvilch [7:59 PM]: and that guy doesn't want a girl

PureEvilch [7:59 PM]: b/c of the car

Friscops2 [8:00 PM]: lol, yeh, but that is a good thing

PureEvilch [8:00 PM]: well then why did he want that car

PureEvilch [8:00 PM]: what did he think

Friscops2 [8:00 PM]: he doesn't want a girl that wants him CAUSE he has the car

Friscops2 [8:00 PM]: he wants a girl that likes him for him

PureEvilch [8:04 PM]: its all about personality

PureEvilch [8:04 PM]: and sparks

Friscops2 [8:04 PM]: yes i assume

Friscops2 [8:05 PM]: but the point of the blog was to show that i don't believe in "sparks"

PureEvilch [8:05 PM]: well just dont go making a big deal over it

PureEvilch [8:05 PM]: it is there

Friscops2 [8:05 PM]: over what

Friscops2 [8:05 PM]: or so u say

PureEvilch [8:06 PM]: about the sparks

PureEvilch [8:06 PM]: they can be there

PureEvilch [8:06 PM]: u dont go out looking

Friscops2 [8:06 PM]: or do u fool urself into believing it is there

PureEvilch [8:06 PM]: it just falls onto ur laps

PureEvilch [8:06 PM]: like when u least expect it

Friscops2 [8:07 PM]: maybe u have been alone so long that u want sparks SO much, that u begin making them up

Friscops2 [8:07 PM]: have u ever thought about that

Friscops2 [8:07 PM]: confusing infatuation with love

Friscops2 [8:08 PM]: you want to experience love so badly, that u consider any feeling love

PureEvilch [8:08 PM]: yeahmaybe

PureEvilch [8:08 PM]: u want something so bad

PureEvilch [8:08 PM]: u make it happen

Friscops2 [8:09 PM]: but u really don't love the person, u love the idea that u had the chance to "experience" love

Friscops2 [8:09 PM]: u r in love with the idea of love

PureEvilch [8:09 PM]: yeah that is true

PureEvilch [8:09 PM]: totally true

PureEvilch [8:10 PM]: soemtiems i scare myself into thinking htat

Friscops2 [8:10 PM]: and so i ask, is there really true love?

Friscops2 [8:11 PM]: do any of us really get the opportunity to experience it

Friscops2 [8:11 PM]: or do we all eventually just fall for the CONCEPT of love

PureEvilch [8:11 PM]: stop @!!!!

PureEvilch [8:11 PM]: just enjoy what comes

Friscops2 [8:11 PM]: refusing to acknowledge the fact that we don't really love the person we are with with all our heart and soul

Friscops2 [8:12 PM]: lol, making u think too much, now am i

PureEvilch [8:12 PM]: yes u r

Friscops2 [8:12 PM]: i will enjoy what comes, but i am no longer looking for it

PureEvilch [8:13 PM]: i told u not to look

PureEvilch [8:13 PM]: it falls into ur hands

Friscops2 [8:13 PM]: there is no point waiting for the one, when u can never be sure that they are really the one

Friscops2 [8:13 PM]: oh, but does it

Friscops2 [8:13 PM]: or is "falling in ur lap" just giving up

Friscops2 [8:14 PM]: believing u have found that special person, when u have in fact finally cracked, refusing to wait any longer

Friscops2 [8:14 PM]: "i want to be with someone so much, therefore i will fall in love with u"

Friscops2 [8:15 PM]: that is not "falling in ur lap" that is changing ur perception on love

PureEvilch [8:21 PM]: no no no

PureEvilch [8:21 PM]: i mean

PureEvilch [8:21 PM]: when u meet that person for the first time

PureEvilch [8:21 PM]: its the little thing

PureEvilch [8:21 PM]: that just strikes up that feeling

Friscops2 [8:22 PM]: or is it that u have finally just given up

Friscops2 [8:22 PM]: and are tired of waiting

Friscops2 [8:22 PM]: so u lie to urself

Friscops2 [8:22 PM]: make urself believe that u r truly in love with them

PureEvilch [8:23 PM]: maybe

PureEvilch [8:23 PM]: but i mean

PureEvilch [8:23 PM]: i don't feel like i have that now

PureEvilch [8:23 PM]: i mean

PureEvilch [8:23 PM]: so what i have bf

PureEvilch [8:23 PM]: i dont think he is the one one

PureEvilch [8:23 PM]: like i think i know who could be

PureEvilch [8:23 PM]: but yeah

Friscops2 [8:26 PM]: so u r keeping urself occupied til u find the "right" person

PureEvilch [8:28 PM]: me?

PureEvilch [8:28 PM]: no

PureEvilch [8:28 PM]: u go with the moment

PureEvilch [8:28 PM]: right now

PureEvilch [8:28 PM]: im into james

Friscops2 [8:28 PM]: but u don't believe that u will LOVE him, so why string him along

PureEvilch [8:28 PM]: so it works out

Friscops2 [8:28 PM]: "into" him

PureEvilch [8:28 PM]: i can

PureEvilch [8:29 PM]: we just started

PureEvilch [8:29 PM]: hehee

PureEvilch [8:29 PM]: i mean

PureEvilch [8:29 PM]: he is on my mind

PureEvilch [8:29 PM]: so

PureEvilch [8:29 PM]: what does that say?

Friscops2 [8:29 PM]: but u believe n sparks

PureEvilch [8:29 PM]: well yeah

PureEvilch [8:29 PM]: i feel me and him have that

Friscops2 [8:29 PM]: and u don't see sparks, cause if u did, u wouldn’t have said u don't think he is the one

PureEvilch [8:29 PM]: but right now i am disappointed about some stuff

PureEvilch [8:30 PM]: i see sparks

PureEvilch [8:30 PM]: but not like im gonna marry this guy

Friscops2 [8:30 PM]: and so u r keeping urself occupied til u meet that one person, and then u dump him

Friscops2 [8:30 PM]: see, now i don't believe in that

PureEvilch [8:31 PM]: what!

Friscops2 [8:31 PM]: u don't see it, then don't go for it

PureEvilch [8:31 PM]: that sounds super bad

PureEvilch [8:31 PM]: no

Friscops2 [8:31 PM]: LOL!

PureEvilch [8:31 PM]: no no no

Friscops2 [8:31 PM]: lol, "super bad," but that is pretty much the general concept, the big picture

PureEvilch [8:31 PM]: that is why u experience

PureEvilch [8:31 PM]: no

Friscops2 [8:31 PM]: why do u need to experience when u believe in sparks

PureEvilch [8:31 PM]: i mean u can't expect to marry only the first person u go out with

Friscops2 [8:32 PM]: u don't need to experience anything, either the sparks are there or they aren't

PureEvilch [8:32 PM]: b/c its what u r feeling at the moment

Friscops2 [8:32 PM]: but u don't feel like he is the one at the moment

PureEvilch [8:33 PM]: not the one one

PureEvilch [8:33 PM]: but for now

Friscops2 [8:33 PM]: and so u wait it out, u don't find that special person, u break, and u see in james what u want to see in someone

PureEvilch [8:33 PM]: i mean im not in love with him

PureEvilch [8:33 PM]: i wanna be with him

Friscops2 [8:33 PM]: and then u call HIM the one

PureEvilch [8:34 PM]: what!

PureEvilch [8:34 PM]: no

PureEvilch [8:34 PM]: u r confusing the living daylights out of me

Friscops2 [8:35 PM]: so i am

PureEvilch [8:36 PM]: yes

PureEvilch [8:36 PM]: say it again

PureEvilch [8:36 PM]: im confused

Friscops2 [8:37 PM]: i can't just RECAP it, it was a huge thing

Friscops2 [8:37 PM]: lol, i am going to blog this

PureEvilch [8:38 PM]: ok

Interesting stuff:

"There are some people who meet that somebody that they can never stop loving, no matter how hard they try. I wouldn't expect you to understand that, or even believe it, but trust me,there are some love that don't go away. And maybe that makes them crazy, but we should all be lucky to end up with that somebody who has a little of that insanity. Somebody who never lets go. Somebody who cherishes you forever."

Two Pronged Blog

But first of all, MY LIFE, not a prong, but just as cool.

I have currently been cutting calc class A LOT, doom you chris! But still am quite capable of pulling off an A =P I am also catching up to pat in benching, only five or ten pounds to go. WHAHAHAHAH! Returning back to my "former glory" I am indeed. My attempts to lose weight are working, I now weigh 143 pounds, who knew that a diet consisting of scooby-doo snacks, nutri-grain mini bits, and tofu would actually work? Beats the hell out of me too. I am still working at targe, finally got my raise but am still waiting for my super cool target pin. Life isn’t great, but I can’t complain. I DID get xenosaga today though, nice.

In other news: Chris drinks WAY too much orange juice, scored 175 pins less then me in bowling, and is flunking physics. Jeff is now a scrub again (very funny story), still wears bowling shirts, has become a writer, and is now known as "rat boy". I have a fan club (another funny story) and stay at ccsf WAY too long. Clinton is not dead, bowls very well, according to my sources, and is actually going to class again. Wei is dead, or so I assume, seeing as I haven’t seen him for the past 4 months, nothing more. Rob works at radio shack, hasn’t picked up his shirt, and loves trance. Hansen is covered in Allen’s spit (yet another funny story), goes to the gym but doesn't workout, and is still very weird. Allen eats foil balls, runs his head into things, is getting stronger, and is going to HELL ~ "I didn’t know the sandwich would kill him." Rejas is bald. Pat is buff and bulky, but does not look as DAMN good as me, thinks gas is way too expensive, and refuses to go to chinatown. Gordon appears here and there. Rage still hits on anything that moves, bowls quite well, and loves eating at in-and-out. Tiffany disappeared.... Jolene does not update her blog. Nikki has integrated herself into the swx life. Bruce may get out of csm in 2 years, is still mah BOY, and sucks at calc. Calvin is never letting me into his house again. Edward is signing me in in calc, goes on aim now, and is too worried about school. Henry isn’t stabbed yet.

P.S. - I am going bowling tomorrow! Feel free to join me, pat, chris, gordon, rage, bruce, and possibly others, if you are going to be in the general vicinity of Serra Bowl at 3:30 – 4:00 tomorrow. Plan on watching Cradle 2 the grave afterwards, at least I do o_O

Prong numero uno:

Ignorance Is Bliss

"No war with IRAQ!" I watch as hundreds and hundreds of men, women, and teenagers adamantly protest the possibility of war. Dozens of posters advocating their "just" cause, decorate every building; banners depicting President Bush as a "war monger," parade through the air. Hastily, I change the channel; yet still can’t help but take notice to how convenient it must be, when fighting for such a cause, to be so ignorant to the issues at hand. How being totally unaware about a subject must make it that much easier for someone to vehemently stand up against it.

The facts:

Saddam Hussein was born on April 28, 1937 in Tikrit, Iraq; living in Auja for most of his youth. At the age of nineteen he joined the socialist Baath party, and three years later, participated in the assassination attempt of Iraqi Prime Minister Abudul Karim Kassim. Shot in the leg, Saddam Hussein fled to Syria, and later Egypt. In 1968, under General Ahmed Hassan Bakr, the Baath party rose to power. Receiving the position of vice president, Saddam quickly began laying down the foundation onto which he would ultimately build his future upon. Eleven years after the revolution, which had brought the Baath party to power, Saddam "replaced" Bakr as leader of Iraq.

In 1980 Saddam invaded Iran. After eight years of continuous fighting, the war ended, millions dead and no victor ever being proclaimed. In 1990, claiming it to be Iraq’s 19th province, Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait, which, after he repeatedly refused to abide by UN orders and retreat from Kuwait, sparked the Persian Gulf War. The United States, being the main participant in the war against Iraq.

The Gulf War lasted a total of six weeks, and left Iraq in utter ruins. During this war, the US deliberately bombed targets they thought would affect "population will." Targets which were associated with electricity, water, and sanitation, structures that, when destroyed, would disintegrate the will of the Iraqi people.

After the war, four of the countries five hydroelectric facilities laid in ruins, and services such as water purification and distribution, sewage removal, treatment operation hospitals and medical laboratories, and agricultural production centers were left inoperable.

Raymond Naimy, an official of the UN children’s Fund, reported that the water supply in Baghdad, immediately following the Persian Gulf War, had been cut by ninety to ninety-five percent. Also, a Harvard medical team revealed that the death rate of children under the age of five, living in Iraq, had tripled.

As punishment for Saddam’s actions, the UN, pressured by the US, placed numerous sanctions on Iraq; including a limit on how much oil could be sold yearly, 1.6 billions worth. They also stipulated that all profits attained from these sales could only be spent on buying humanitarian supplies for Iraq, compensating Kuwait for war damages, and reimbursing U.N.S.C.O.M. for its costs.

And now to my actual point: Saddam Hussein is a crazy totalitarian who needs to be dealt with anyway possible. Ad Hominem Argument at its finest.

A statement commonly used by antiwar protestors and Iraqi sympathizers is that the sanctions placed on Iraq by the UN are not hurting Saddam Hussein, but rather the Iraqi people. That these sanctions are greatly hindering the speed at which new water sanitation factories, electric generators, and other essential buildings can be built, by significantly limiting the amount of money that is flowing into Iraq. This is partly true. It was clearly stated by the UN that ALL profits attained from oil sales were supposed to be used to help better the lives of the Iraqi citizens; spent on repairing the completely devastated Iraqi infrastructure. Saddam has CHOSEN not to adhere to this. Instead, he has decided to use the money to help fund his weapon development programs and in ensuring his dominance over Iraq. Since 1991, Saddam has rebuilt his ENTIRE army, yet still hasn’t been able to repair the numerous problems affecting his people. Easing sanctions will not guarantee the improved lives of the Iraqi people; though, it will help in increasing the amount of biological weapons that are available to Saddam. He has not felt the need to help his people before, why should he feel inclined to now?

Do not get me wrong, I am in no way condoning President Bush’s motives for going to war. For all I know, maybe he only wants to finish up what his father started, or is just after the monumental amount of "black gold" residing within Iraq. Maybe he IS a "war monger" looking to make a name for himself, or possibly just an absolute idiot (forty percent plus forty percent plus forty percent is still a mathematical impossibility). I don’t know his reasons, nor do I ever need to know them, they are irrelevant. Also, WE were the ones who put Iraq in crap hole it is in right now. But the fact still remains, Saddam Hussein is a plague on his people. As long as he remains in power, thousands upon thousands of Iraqi citizens will continue to needlessly die from starvation and malnutrition, not to mention, from his massive paranoia.

Why should we risk our butts to save those of others though? Who is President Bush to think that it is his, and Americas, job to "police" the world? These are both very good questions. It is just the "humane" thing to do. NOBODY deserves to live in such conditions, to have to drink sewage water, search for scraps of food, and live in constant fear of what "all mighty" Saddam might do next. Yes, many lives will be lost if the US decides to go to war, many of them being American, but countless more lives will be saved in the long run. If drafted, I would go to war.

Move to Iraq, have your freedoms get taken away from you, watch as your friends and family die before your eyes, and THEN protest the war. It is easy to stand up for something you know absolutely nothing about. Live life in their shoes.

I am no fan of war, but know that at times it is the only option.

Prong numero dos:

From The Very First Moment

Love at first sight, I do not believe in it. In my opinion, someone’s love and affection should be an emotion that you have won over, sincerely earned and deserve. Your heart should not be something that is so easily handed over. How can you truly love someone you have just meet? I do believe however, that after awhile (a few months, weeks, or days even) you can come to the realization that the person you are with is the very same person you want to spend the rest of your life with. But I do not believe that you can feel this why towards someone you have just laid your eyes upon.

Jessica Alba is hot, Eliza Dushku is hot, and Kristin Kreuk is REALLY hot. But do I love any of them? Not the slightest bit. I need to know more about a person before I can fall madly in love with them; I need to know about their personality and what their views on life are. I am incapable of falling in love with someone the second I notice them.

"I am not a shallow person, but I believe in love at first sight." Umm, ok, how is that working out for you? Isn’t love at first sight, at its core, solely based on looks? You haven’t talked to the person, so you can’t be attracted to their personality, and you haven’t gotten to know them, so you couldn’t possibly be in love with the "real" them. The only aspect about them you could have possibly based your decision upon, is looks, and looks alone. You notice a person, they are -- drop dead -- gorgeous, you irrationally come to the conclusion that you are in love with them. SHALLOW. I do believe it would slightly help, when making such a pivotal decision, if you, oh I don’t know, actually knew something about the person other then that they are hot, before you decide that they are the man/women of your dreams.

Though the moment you strike up a conversation with this person, and THEN fall in love with them, it can no longer be considered love at first sight, for you have not based your decision solely on looks, but also on their personality. Bravo. Unless of course, you came to the conclusion that they were your soul mate before you initiated the conversation with them, in that case, I hope everything works out for you. Don’t fall in love with a person’s looks fall in love with the person.

Mario shut the fuck up

i am writing this blog in response to mario's comment on Chris's blog. I am starting to get sick and tired of you always thinking that people that attend junior college's are pathetic. Well i am sorry to tell you this, but we are not. Tell me, what makes you think that it was soooo bad that we decided to attend ccsf instead of going to a UC like you. That we REFUSED to go to a UC that is known to be a party school like you. Is it so bad that we all decided that it was in OUR best interest NOT to go to UCSC, and instead go to ccsf for 2 years and get into a BETTER college. I am SOOOOOOOOOO sorry if you thought that chris, edward, alan, jeff, and I shouldn't have particapated in CAP and instead followed you to UCSC. Maybe that would have been the right decision.

Just LOOK at how great a school UCSC is compared to city. Number 1: you have frat houses. Now everyone loves frat houses, it gives each and everyone one of us the opportunity to get so drunk that we have to be dragged back to our dorm room; we get to party til we drop WHILE taking advantage of drunken frat GIRLS; AND, best of all!!!, we get to be part of a cult, ~ "in the words of our kappa mappa fuck you leader..."- taken from a previous blog of someone's ( kappa mappa fuck you leader may have not been the exact words of the blogger),.....i MEAN part of a family, not cult. Number 2: UCSC prides itself on the level of maturity there students have reached. just LOOK AT you, WOW........now you are mature, taking every opportunity you get to tell us what a bad decision it was to go to city.  Number 3: By attending the fine institution know as UCSC we will all become manly men, because , ofcourse, junior college turns us all into "little girls".

MAN, after mentioning all of that! it was stupid of us to have choosen to go to UCB in 2 years instead of going to UCSC NOW!!. Well mario, not all of us are like you. DO you really think that YOUR fucking frat house drugies are real people. that they are ANY better than city folk. you do know that numerious city people REJECTED the option to going to UCR, UCSC, UCD, UCSB, and many other colleges. Just because we decided to go to city, while so many people decided to go to actual colleges, does not make you guys any better than us.

Chris is not afraid to leave the city, he can take any shit life has to deal him as well or even better than you can. He made a decision 6 months ago, and that decision was that going to UCSC or any other college that accepted him, was not in his best interest. Both his parents went to UCB and i applaud him for wanting to follow in such great footsteps. Do not mistaken Chris for a coward, because he is anything but that.

"From my own experiences, every aspect of your life, whether it be academics, religious, or SOCIAL is directly related to how much time and effort you put into it."-mario. You are absolutely right mario, our academics, religious, or social life is directly related to how much much time and effort we put into them, we chose to put 2 more years of our life into bettering our academic life at the cost of our social lives. As jogurt so clearly put it: "and the degree from LA or Cal is worth more than the Santa Barbara Ass Roll that is your diploma." Do any of us regret this decision? i don't know about everyone else, but i sure as hell do not. Unlike you, i was not ready to just settle down and go to just any UC that accepted me. I know that UCSC was not the college you wanted to attend. And that was the same for everyone of us that went to city. WE each have our own "dream" college, but what separates us is what we are willing to do to get into them.

"Depression and egotism is a common trait that i have found between the jc crew"-mario. yes, EVERY SINGLE one of us is depressed and egotistical. i am HELLA depressed. and WE are the ones ranting about how great city life is, WE are the ones telling you that you made the wrong decision in going to UCSC, and WE are the ones telling you to grow up and be more like us.

Yes, mario i understand you now, you are 100% correct.  We screwed up and you didn't. We shouldn't have looked ahead in life and decided what was best for OUR futures. We should have just taken what life handed to us.

PS. i am not downing UCSC, i am just saying that it is the right school for some and not for others.GO UCSC!!!!

PPS. i still consider you a very good friend mario. i just felt you needed to hear this.
